love my brother but...

It is days like today that make me wish I had the money to live on my own.

My brother, who doesn't have a job, sleeps until noonish every day and spent 3 of 5 days at the Northfork this week, complained about having no clean underwear this afternoon and made a snide remark about how the laundry room has been full of dirty clothes all week.

Yes, doing the laundry is my chore. But the fact of the matter is, he needs to give off his lazy ass and take some initiative. If he doesn't like the way I do the laundry (which btw is every weekend) then he can do his own freakin' laundry. Unlike him, I work Monday, Wednesday and Friday and I got to school Tuesday and Thursday.

He needs a serious attitude adjustment and quite possibly some punishment: $100 disappeared from my mom's purse in the last 24 hours--I didn't take it, my sister didn't take it, my mom didn't spend it and my dad didn't take it, which leaves 'ol sour puss the suspicious person. I know it sounds terrible to put the blame on him, but the last time my mom was vocal about $20 that mysteriously disappeared from by her computer, my brother magically found it on the floor right by the computer even though my sister and I looked in that same place and never found it (might I add, he's a guy so if it isn't staring right at him he doesn't see it and if he saw it then I would have seen it).

But whatever... I can't wait to see what being in the army will do for him... if he ever signs the papers to go in... if he doesn't, I'm really going to have to buckle down and desperately figure out how to get out of this house... I can't stand his mood swings and frankly, I just can't stand living around him anymore.

brain is fried

I haven't been avoiding this thing purposely... I've started to write something a couple times but I just haven't felt like continuing what I was saying... so I just closed it and went on.

I am so mentally and physically drained right now that I can hardly think straight. I spent four hours this evening fighting a virus on my computer and I'm not sure where it came from and that's what's really making me uneasy. It all started about 6:30pm and I still feel so queasy I could throw up.

The whole thing happened so fast and thank God I caught it so quickly because the virus that I had can go crazy for what I've read about it. It was like somebody pulled a string and I got so wound up I could hardly breath or think straight and now that's it's all said and done, I'm having a hard time unwinding from it all.

I'm completely frazzled right now and I can't even begin to imagine how I would have felt had I not had all of my stuff backed up... it's completely crazy... I got an external harddrive back in January and I back up the stuff that is really important to me every MWF, so I would have lost a couple things, but nothing major.

This really wasn't how I planned to spend my evening... I was really wanting to watch the All Star game and I got to watch about an hour and a half of it before this all went down and I missed it all practically because I was so distracted.... hell I thought the National League was winning and couldn't figure out why they were batting again when it was the bottom of the ninth... then I figured out that the 4 was by the AL... felt so stupid after that haha

I had this plan to write tonight and get some chapters out for a story I'm working on and that obviously didn't happen... maybe tomorrow
