It is days like today that make me wish I had the money to live on my own.
My brother, who doesn't have a job, sleeps until noonish every day and spent 3 of 5 days at the Northfork this week, complained about having no clean underwear this afternoon and made a snide remark about how the laundry room has been full of dirty clothes all week.
Yes, doing the laundry is my chore. But the fact of the matter is, he needs to give off his lazy ass and take some initiative. If he doesn't like the way I do the laundry (which btw is every weekend) then he can do his own freakin' laundry. Unlike him, I work Monday, Wednesday and Friday and I got to school Tuesday and Thursday.
He needs a serious attitude adjustment and quite possibly some punishment: $100 disappeared from my mom's purse in the last 24 hours--I didn't take it, my sister didn't take it, my mom didn't spend it and my dad didn't take it, which leaves 'ol sour puss the suspicious person. I know it sounds terrible to put the blame on him, but the last time my mom was vocal about $20 that mysteriously disappeared from by her computer, my brother magically found it on the floor right by the computer even though my sister and I looked in that same place and never found it (might I add, he's a guy so if it isn't staring right at him he doesn't see it and if he saw it then I would have seen it).
But whatever... I can't wait to see what being in the army will do for him... if he ever signs the papers to go in... if he doesn't, I'm really going to have to buckle down and desperately figure out how to get out of this house... I can't stand his mood swings and frankly, I just can't stand living around him anymore.
